Acidity, or Amlapitta in Ayurveda, is a common digestive disorder caused by the aggravation of Pitta dosha (fire element). This imbalance results in excessive acid production in the stomach, leading to symptoms like heartburn, bloating, sour belching, and chest discomfort. Unlike temporary solutions, Ayurveda aims to treat the root cause of acidity through diet, lifestyle changes, and natural remedies.
