Panchakarma is a set of Ayurvedic therapeutic procedures used for detoxification and purification. The specific Panchkarma treatments recommended for psoriasis may include Vamana, Virechana, Basti. It is not that after panchkarma, you would not need oral medicines but as toxins are eliminated, your body responds fairly well to oral medicines after these procedures.
We have successfully treated many psoriasis patients with ayurvedic treatment. In some cases, only oral medicines are needed whereas some need aggressive treatment like Panchakarma for psoriasis.
